NDBF currently has an opening for an Examiner position.
This position is being offered internally and externally at the same time. The full-time hiring rate for this position is $3,083-$5,833 per month. The position is headquartered in the Omaha office. The closing date for this position is December 30, 2005.
Essential Duties
Supervise and participate in all areas of regular financial institution examination, including assessment of technology risk, asset quality, capital adequacy, management strength and performance, earnings performance, potential and sufficiency of liquidity, and sensitivity to market risk in order to determine financial condition and compliance with laws, rules, regulations, statements of policy and any outstanding formal or informal enforcement actions.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in business, business administration, or a related field including a minimum of 12 semester hours of accounting and 24 semester hours or the equivalent in business administration, finance, economics, and/or marketing. To qualify for the Senior Examiner level (higher salary range) the candidate's experience must include a minimum of three years of financial institution experience and specific regulatory examiner-in-charge experience with bank examination experience strongly preferred. The individual selected will be expected to achieve and maintain the Conference of State Bank Supervisors (CSBS) Examiner-In-Charge certification. Good oral and written communications skills are essential. Candidate must be able to meet deadlines, work independently, enjoy working with people and be a team player. Must have good computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel preferred. Candidates interviewed will need to provide a college transcript at the time of the interview. Travel is required.
