Sale of Checks/Funds Transmission License Renewal

A Sale of Checks/Funds Transmission is valid from the date of issuance until the following June 30. The license must be renewed annually by July 1.

To renew a Sale of Checks/Funds Transmission License, an applicant must submit:
  • a complete Application to Renew Sale of Checks and Funds Transmission License (no unanswered questions);
  • the company's most recent Financial Statements;
  • a photocopy of the current surety bond issued by a surety company authorized to do business in Nebraska;
  • a non-refundable application fee in the amount of $250 made payable to the Nebraska Department of Banking and Finance;
  • information on new officers and directors;
  • a list of agents and Nebraska offices.
Once the application has been determined to be complete and all information has been submitted, the agency will determine whether the license is granted or denied. The applicant will be notified in writing of the department's determination.
